John Duke Exhibition - Olinda

It finally happened. I had my very own art exhibition for the first time and I was humbled by the support and positive feedback. It was a beautiful day in Olinda with new friends, good food and fantastic wine. The day definitely went too quickly! It was so interesting to hear the differing ideas and emotions my artwork evoked in those who attended. As you may know, this collection incorporated historical and current political events such as the war in Ukraine. I am delighted this exhibiton opened up frank discussion surrounding these past and present issues. On a lighter note, it was a fabulous surprise to be featured in the local newspaper! They did a great job communicating what drove me to create this collection in the first place. As you may have read in the article, I believe mental health is important and think art is a great way to improve it! If you didn’t get a chance to attend the exhibition, my artwork is still available for viewing at my Olinda store until the 31st of July.
